
I joined NxLifestyle knowing I had a busy year ahead—completing an MBA, starting a new role, and balancing family life. Despite my packed schedule, Tom challenged me to break down exactly what I wanted to achieve and how it could realistically be done.
Before joining, I had reservations about how much time I could commit to this style of training. But even with all my commitments, results came quickly, and Tom made sure to check in regularly to make sure I wasn’t overstretching myself. We started training 3 times a week, with an additional 2 home workout sessions. Tom’s passion and knowledge are clear in every session. He’s flexible in how he trains the same muscle groups, always finding new ways to keep it engaging, and he uses effective tools to track progress, keeping me focused on my targets with regular online check-ins.
Working with Tom, I achieved several firsts—things I didn’t think were possible. Being mostly desk-bound, improving my posture and building shoulder, back, and core strength were essential for me. With Tom’s help, I not only strengthened these areas but also mastered techniques that allowed me to conquer pull-ups, which had always been a personal goal.
What I enjoyed most about Tom’s sessions was how he connected with me. He made sure I understood the programme he created for me, and he was always happy to chat about nutrition, clearing up myths I had believed were right for me.
